Sheila, “Hula Girl”

Sheila is a native of Hawaii, transplanted in California 36 years ago. She is a wife, married to Mike for 38 years, a mother of 3, a grandmother of 8, and a guardian of 10 rescued pets. Sheila has always loved animals so it was no surprise to her family & friends when she chose to work in the veterinary field in 1992, after raising her children. She worked at several veterinary hospitals before working for Dr. Greek in 1997.

She finds great pleasure in seeing the variety of pets that require Dr. Greek’s attention and in their owners’ satisfaction. When she has moments to spare, Sheila enjoys decorative tole painting and perpetuating the Hawaiian culture. Her rescued animals consist of doves, cockatiels, parrots, a cat, and her dog Winnie, who sometimes can be found sitting behind her on the chair.
