Jacki, “Jack-Jack”

Jacki is originally from Long Island, New York. After high school, she attended Suffolk County Community College and completed an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration. After realizing she had a lifelong passion for animals and good weather, Jacki moved to Southern California in 1998 to further her education in animal science from the California State Polytechnic Univeristy, Pomona. She graduated in June 2003 with a bachelor’s of science degree in animal science and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2004 by passing the California State Veterinary Technician Board Exam. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 1998 at Sunnycrest Animal Care Center in Fullerton where she worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 3 years.

Knowing that there was more to learn about species other than dogs and cats, she sought employment with a veterinarian who treated exotic species. Jacki began working with Dr. Greek and the rest of our team at East Lake Animal Hospital in September 2001. She left for a few months during 2006 to work at the Veterinary Health Center at the Los Angeles Zoo and is greatfull for the experience and knowledge she gained of zoo medicine. Jacki enjoys the wide variety of species that Greek and Associates Veterinary Hospital treats on a daily basis. Jacki is proud to work with a veterinary hospital team that has true passion for animals and practices a high standard of veterinary care.
